About the event

Wild River is teaming up again with Little Eden to see in their new winter menu with this not to be missed 5 course stand up canape event, featuring Wild River’s release of Distiller’s Select Rum.

Little Eden will be offering a delicious selection of food showcasing their winter menu paired perfectly with some tasty Wild River drinks, including both a selection of gin and rum inspired drinks.

You will be guided through the process of how Wild River produces their Rum and spirits by head distiller, brewer and owner Wes Marks.

Relax and soak up the atmosphere with some local tunes by Ben Wilson with beer wine and spirits also available from the bar.

Tickets will also be available at the event to go in the draw for an amazing weekend stay at the luxurious Treetops Sanctuary, along with products from Crater Mountain Coffee, Little Eden & of course Wild River Mountain Distillery - the winner being drawn at the event.

Welcome drink on arrival - Wild River Distillers Select Rum, Fever Tree Gingerale and Lime

Twice cooked Spiced plum glazed pork belly

2 hrs Slow cooked in a garlic, bay leaf, fresh herbs and dried plum marinate than chargrilled and dressed  in a spiced plum glaze served with sticky rice. (GF)

Paired with a sample of the single barrel release with tasting notes from the distiller

Sautéed  creamy house made Piri Piri  sauce Prawns, swimming in a Lemon,

Parsley, and sweet smoked paprika bisque.

Paired with Wild River Ghost Gin & Sicilian Fever Tree Tonic

Crumbed duck bites, confit duck with caramelised onion and mixed herbs coated in crumb and fried to a crispy bite served with a aromatic orange sauce

Paired with Wild Brew Coffee Liqueur

Three cheese Arancini Balls, combining the nuttiness of the Gruyere, depth of the cheddar and mellowness of cream cheese along with the complexity of walnut and fresh herb pesto.

Paired with 1875 Australian Gin served with Fever Tree raspberry tonic garnished with lime

Chorizo and Pork mini meatloaf with a maple glaze and a mustard dipping sauce with cornichons
