The Oloroso Sherry Cask, our very first sherry cask release at Wild River Mountain Distillery.
 
Crafted with the essence of our Australian spirit, this whisky packs a punch at 54.3% ABV. It's designed for those who appreciate the depth and complexity of big, bold Australian whiskies with a beautiful mouth feel and sligh flocking.
 
From the moment you pour a glass, the nose captivates with rich aromas of sweet oak, vanilla, subtle smoke, and hints of spiced fruit cake, layered with grassy notes and the delicate scent of Turkish delight.
 
On the palate, you’ll experience a symphony of sweet smoke, peanut brittle, chocolate, and spice, all leading to a lingering finish of burnt caramel toffee, freshly roasted espresso, and a touch of fortified wine.
 
We couldn’t be more excited about this release. It’s a true reflection of Wild River’s whisky DNA, while boldly exploring a new cask style that adds another layer of complexity to our range.
